Global Executive Strategy Group
- The Global Executive Strategy Group consists of leading chemical industry CEOs.
- The Group provides guidance and recommendations to the Board of Directors on strategic directions and priorities, providing leadership on key ICCA initiatives, and by engaging in outreach programs.
- The Group meets at least once a year.

Board Of Directors (BOD)
- ICCA is governed by a Board of Directors who represent the member associations. It’s chaired by the ICCA President, who is the central governing body of ICCA, with direct authority for the Council's priorities, policies, programs and budgets.
- Meeting at least once a year, the Board is made up of a maximum of 25 CEOs from companies belonging to ICCA associations, all representatives of the membership and who reflect a regional balance.
- The Board of Directors is led by a President, the private sector CEO, who chairs the association that is currently serving as the ICCA Secretariat.
- Board seats are generally allocated roughly in line with a region^ share of global chemical production. Board seats are reviewed at least every three years or with the entry of a new member.

Steering Committee
- A Steering Committee is responsible for the oversight of several working level groups.
- It supports the work of the Board and, with the help of the Council Secretary, manages the work of the ICCA. Additional duties include preparation of the ICCA Budget, and the review of membership applications.
- They meet twice per year and its members include the chief of staff officers for national associations, regional federations or regional groups.

ICCA Extended Secretariat
- The Company Executive who is leading the association by holding the Council Secretariat.
- The Secretariat function, which notates every two years among the major associations (Cefic or ACC), is led by a Council Secretary, who chairs the Steering Committee, and is the head of the association currently serving as Secretariat.
- The Council Secretary, supported by the Extended Secretariat, helps manage ICCA activities, maintain an effective global representation network and guides all internal and external correspondence on behalf of ICCA.
